Make a difference – Join the wood workshop of HABIBI WORKS in Greece [Guest Post]

Habibi.Works contacted us to ask if we could spread the word about their project. We think it’s a good cause so we offered them to write a guest post on our blog.

Habibi.Works is an intercultural maker space that was founded in 2016 by the German NGO Soup & Socks e.V. in the North of Greece. Together, people living in refugee camps, Greek locals and international experts create products and perspectives.

The 700 square meter space offers 11 different workshop areas, from traditional wood work, metal work, or bicycle repair to advanced technology like 3D printing in the media lab. Potential new team members should have specific skills in one of the 11 working areas.

We need your skills! Join our team!

The team is looking for experienced carpenters who could accompany the wood workshop for 3 – 4 weeks. The organisation Soup and Socks e.V. covers costs for food and accommodation and can support with travelling costs.
